Trump Threatens Taliban with ‘Bad Things’ Over Bagram Air Base
President Donald Trump threatened the Taliban government in Afghanistan on social media, warning of “bad things” regarding the Bagram Air Base. In a Truth Social post on Sept. 20, Trump doubled down on demands that the United States get back control of Bagram Air Base. “If Afghanistan doesn’t give Bagram Airbase back to those that built it, the United States of America, BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN!!!,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Pentagon Reveals New Restrictions for DOD Reporters
The Pentagon revealed tighter rules for reporters covering the Department of Defense. The new restrictions consist of asking the press not to publish information that the current administration has not authorized, or risk losing access to the department.
Trump Says Broadcast Network Can Lose License if Dishonest
Can a broadcast network lose its license if it is caught being dishonest? President Trump, speaking to reporters outside the White House on Sept. 20, suggested that a network could be in trouble if it is not telling the truth. “Well, I think when a network is dishonest, certainly, they are dishonest, because they give you 97 percent bad publicity, or whatever it is, some ridiculous number, yeah, I would say that would be grounds,” Trump said.
Gavin Newsom Signs Bill Restricting ICE Agents from Wearing Masks
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed legislation on Sept. 20 restricting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from wearing masks as they perform operations in the Golden State. During remarks to the press at a local school, Newsom stated that ICE agents can no longer be “hidden from accountability,” stating that masks prevent “transparency” and “oversight” for US citizens. “That’s Trump’s America, but that’s not the America we’ve grown up in. And so we are pushing back,” Newsom said.

Charlie Kirk Widow: ‘I Forgive’ Shooter Who Killed Husband
Erika Kirk, the 36-year-old widow of murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk, said at a massive public memorial for her late husband in Arizona on Sunday that she forgives the shooter who took his life. “I forgive him because it was what Christ did and it is what Charlie would do,” Erika Kirk told the huge audience. “The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the Gospel is love.”

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Wednesday said inflammatory rhetoric by the political Left has spurred a demonization of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, triggering a deadly shooting at an ICE detention facility in Dallas. Three ICE detainees were struck by a rooftop shooter, later identified as Joshua Jahn, 29, who then fatally shot himself. One detainee was slain, and the other two were wounded.
