‘No Kings’: Anti-Trump Rallies Held Across US, Europe
Cities across the United States and Europe held “No Kings” rallies, with protests expressing opposition to President Donald Trump. The latest demonstrations spotlighted the administration’s immigration enforcement. This was the third “No Kings” demonstration since June. The March 28 rallies, totaling more than 3,100 events, were estimated to have attracted approximately nine million participants.
Pakistan Working to Establish ‘Conducive Environment’ for US-Iran Peace Negotiations
Pakistan is working to “create a conducive environment” for peace negotiations between the United States and Iran, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s Office said on March 28. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Sharif held an hour-long phone call to discuss the conflict and continue outreach efforts with Gulf states.

Iran Says It Is Ready and ‘Waiting For’ US Ground Assault
The Iranian government on Sunday said it is prepared to face US ground troops and that American attempts to negotiate are only a ruse to try to catch it off guard. “The enemy, openly, sends messages of negotiation and dialogue, but secretly is planning a ground attack,” Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf declared, state media outlet IRNA and state-affiliated Tasnim report. The US is “unaware that our men are waiting for American soldiers to enter on the ground so they can set them ablaze and punish their regional partners forever,” he added.
North Korea Conducts Test for Missile It Claims Can Reach US
North Korea on Sunday “conducted a missile test for an upgraded solid-fuel engine it says can reach the US mainland, according to state media,” The Hill reports. “The country reported the engine’s maximum thrust is 2,500 kilonewtons, noting an increase from a 1,970-kilonewtons test in September, according to the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA),” the news site relates. “The test took place at an undisclosed location, state media reported. It was not covered by independent journalists. However, the government did provide photos of the test. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said the test had ‘great significance in putting the country’s strategic military muscle on the highest level,’ KCNA reported.”

Trump Threatens Iran Water, Power Infrastructure if No Deal Made
President Donald Trump on Monday issued one of his strongest warnings against Iran yet as the military conflict between the Middle East nation and the US continues to rage. “The United States of America is in serious discussions with a new, and more reasonable, regime to end our military operations in Iran,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “Great progress has been made but, if for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be, and if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately ‘open for business,’ we will conclude our lovely ‘stay’ in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their electric generating plants, oil wells and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalinization plants!), which we have purposefully not yet ‘touched.’ This will be in retribution for our many soldiers, and others, that Iran has butchered and killed over the old regime’s 47-year ‘Reign of Terror.’”

President Donald Trump on Monday followed up his threat to Iran to destroy its oil wells by posting a video clip from 1987 in which he told interviewer Barbara Walters the US should seize Iran’s oil if the nation attacked the US again.

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday signed a bill to officially rename Palm Beach International Airport after President Donald Trump. The change will still need to be approved by the Federal Aviation Administration before taking effect, beginning July 1.

SCOTUS Tosses Colorado’s Conversion Therapy Ban
The Supreme Court on Tuesday, in an overwhelming 8-1 ruling based on First Amendment grounds, ruled that Colorado cannot enforce its statewide ban on so-called “conversion therapy” for minors struggling with sexual orientation and gender identity issues. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was the lone dissenter.
Trump Signs Executive Order to Tighten Up Mail-In Voting
President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order “requiring states to impose stricter mail-in voting rules and directing his administration to create a list of confirmed US citizens who are eligible to vote in each state,” CBS News reports.

Iranian President Pens Message to America
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian released a message on Wednesday to Americans, saying his government harbors no ill feelings towards them and poses no threat to their country. “The Iranian people harbor no enmity toward other nations, including the people of America, Europe or neighboring countries,” the letter read. “Today, the world stands at a crossroads. Continuing along the path of confrontation is more costly and futile than ever before,” Pezeshkian wrote. “The choice between confrontation and engagement is both real and consequential; its outcome will shape the future for generations to come. Throughout its millennia of proud history, Iran has outlasted many aggressors. All that remains of them are tarnished names in history, while Iran endures – resilient, dignified, and proud.”
NASA’s Artemis II Mission Lifts Off for the Moon
It’s been a long time coming. “NASA’s first crewed moon mission in more than 50 years is underway. NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Christina Koch and Victor Glover and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen launched Wednesday evening on a 10-day journey to circle Earth and the moon,” NBC News reports.
