Trump Calls Iran Peace Proposal Response ‘Totally Unacceptable’
President Donald Trump on Sunday expressed his frustration with Iran’s response to a US peace proposal to end the war between the two nations. “I have just read the response from Iran’s so-called ‘representatives.’ I don’t like it – totally unacceptable,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. He was not only good to them, he was great, actually going to their side, jettisoning Israel, and all other allies, and giving Iran a major and very powerful new lease on life,” he wrote. “For 47 years the Iranians have been ‘tapping’ us along, keeping us waiting, killing our people with their roadside bombs, destroying protests, and recently wiping out 42,000 innocent, unarmed protestors, and laughing at our now great again country. They will be laughing no longer.”

And I think it’s time we weaned ourselves from the remaining military support,” Netanyahu told CBS News in an interview that aired Sunday. When asked what the timeline was for such a move, Netanyahu replied, “Let’s start now and do it over the next decade.”
