The operation comes just days after the United States seized a Venezuelan oil tanker, as well as Donald Trump declaring a “total and complete blockade” on vessels entering or departing Venezuelan waters.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to brief President Trump on possible new Iran strikes, NBC News reported, citing multiple sources close to the situation. This past summer, the United States launched missile attacks on Iranian nuclear sites. The Israeli leadership is preparing to brief Trump about options for attacking it again, as Tehran officials reportedly have intentions to rebuild these facilities.
